Congratulations on News Central 34 for being selected the 1st place Winner in the 2006 Philo T. Farnsworth Video Festival

Congratulations! News Central 34's newscast has been selected as a 1st place Winner in the 2006 Philo T. Farnsworth Video Festival.

This year's festival received 296 entries with rigorous competition in numerous categories. All programs were judged by a panel of three judges. You can find a complete list of winners and finalists online at http://www.csregionacm.org/video_comp.php

This year’s Philo T. Farnsworth Awards Ceremony, will be Friday, November 17th at the alliance for Community Media Central State’s Regional Conference in East Lansing, MI on board Michigan’s only triple deck Riverboard, the Michigan Princess. A night of music, fine dining, cash bar, and glamorous awards ceremony is sponsored by Leightronix, Inc. Boarding will begin from the Kellogg Center Main Lobby at 6:30pm and the boat will leave the dock promptly at 1pm.

First place Winners will be awarded one plaque, which will be presented during the ceremonies.
