Broadcast & Cinematic Arts Special Talent ScholarshipsBroadcast and Cinematic Arts majors are eligible to apply for scholarships that recognize their abilities and achievements in the classroom and in the department's cocurricular facilities. The scholarships are competitively awarded on an annual basis, with applications accepted in March for the following year. Typically, scholarships are given for a complete academic year (Fall and Spring semesters). Winners are eligible to compete for a renewal of their awards in subsequent years. Dollar amount of the BCA Special Talent Scholarships varies from year-to-year based on the number of winners selected for that year by the department faculty. To receive a Special Talent Scholarship Application: Broadcast & Cinematic Arts Endowed ScholarshipsThe school offers three endowed scholarships: the Jeffrey Ray Vernon Memorial Scholarship, the Kelly Fitzpatrick and Bruce Wood Memorial Scholarship, and the Wilbur E. Moore Scholarship. Some of these recognitions are awarded in alternate years. Criteria for these grants are similar to those for the Special Talent Scholarships. Students must have established a successful classroom and co-curricular record in BCA before applying.
