In the NBS Region 2 Production Competition, there was a total of 62 entries in all categories, 42 of them from Central Michigan University, eight from University of Cincinnati, seven from Freed Hardeman, four from Appalachian State and one from Ohio Northern University.
There were entries in 32 categories out of a total of 46.
All entries were scored on a points basis. Each category (and therefore, each entry) had a maximum possible score of 30 points.
In order to be fair to everyone who entered, there was no combining of categories. Each entry was judged in the category in which it was entered, even if it was the only entry in that category. Determination of award was based upon points earned. A minimum of points was needed to be considered a finalist and a higher minimum was needed to become a winner. In some categories where the only entry did not score high enough to be a winner, the designation of “Honorable Mention” is given.
