Education Association
The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is an
organization for professors, students and professionals
involved in teaching and research related to radio,
television and electronic media education. Members
share a diversity of interests involving all aspects
of telecommunications and electronic media.
Over 1,300 professors, students and media professionals are currently
individual members. Approximately 250 college and university departments
and schools are currently institutional members.
BEA has an annual convention each spring in Las Vegas, NV, three days
prior to the opening of the National Association of Broadcasters' (NAB)
Annual Convention and Expo. All BEA Academic attendees (students & Professors)
are invited to stay and attend NAB's Convention at no additional charge.
